Ampere's Latest: Unveiling the Nexus Electric Scooter

Ampere, a company known for its electric scooters, is gearing up to launch its newest model called Nexus. This scooter is based on an idea called Nxg, which they showcased at a major auto expo last year. The company has been actively promoting it on social media platforms and the official launch is expected to take place next month.

Ampere Nexus Journey: From Kashmir to Kanyakumari

Before its official launch, Ampere initiated a remarkable journey with the Nexus prototype. The special scooter embarked on a cross-country expedition from Kashmir to Kanyakumari covering the vast expanse of India from north to south. This epic journey commenced in January and successfully concluded today marking a significant milestone for the upcoming electric scooter.

Anticipated Features of the Ampere Nexus

Details regarding the Ampere Nexus are currently scarce. However, early reports suggest that the scooter will boast four distinct riding modes and utilize an LFP (Lithium Ferrous Phosphate) battery. Positioned as a flagship offering, it is expected to surpass the features of Ampere's current best-seller, the Primus, launched in April last year.

Expected Specifications and Pricing

While specific specifications are yet to be revealed, enthusiasts anticipate features such as a large digital instrument panel, flush-mounted pillion foot pegs, all-LED illumination, and a front disc brake for enhanced safety. With the recent cessation of FAME II subsidies, there is uncertainty surrounding the pricing of the Nexus. Considering that the Primus currently retails at Rs 1.46 lakh, industry insiders speculate that the Nexus might be priced around Rs 1.60 lakh (both ex-showroom).

Exclusive K2K Edition Offer

For enthusiasts eager to be among the first to experience the Ampere Nexus, the company is offering a special edition known as the K2K (Kashmir to Kanyakumari) edition. Customers can secure their spot by pre-booking this exclusive variant for a nominal fee of Rs 499.
