Suzuki Big Bikes Discontinued in India: According to recent reports, Suzuki has updated its entire official website for the Indian market. The brand has not discontinued any of its commuter-segment motorcycles under its portfolio though the 'Big Bikes' list has been revised recently. The brand has recently removed five of its big bikes from its official website which includes:
  • Suzuki Hayabusa
  • Suzuki GSX-S750
  • Suzuki V-Strom 1000
  • Suzuki GSX-R1000R
  • Suzuki GSX-S1000

Another motorcycle from the brand that has seen the dust is the Suzuki GSX-S750. It is expected to be reincarnated later with a BS6-compliant engine though there isn’t any official confirmation received as of yet. This means that Suzuki has decided not to waste efforts on upgrading its big bikes portfolio which contributes only a few units in terms of sales in the Indian market. As the European and Japanese markets will switch to Euro5 compliance in the coming months, one can expect Suzuki to upgrade its big bikes portfolio after that. This could result in the Indian shores receiving some of the upgraded motorcycles in the future though one cannot guarantee anything as of yet. The brand is expected to launch the Suzuki V-Strom 1050 in the Indian markets sometime soon while the remaining big bikes that have been discontinued have minimal chances of revival at the moment.
