Motorcycle sales in the 350cc segment increased by 20.06% YoY in February 2023. It was a 7.23% MoM decrease from the units sold in January 2023.
Despite a YoY decrease of 8.71% in February 2023, the Classic 350 was the best-selling model in this segment. MoM sales increased by 5.08% over the units sold in January 2023.
The new RE Hunter 350, which came to India at the end of 2022, has risen to second place in the sales rankings. When compared to January 2023 sales, it represented a 22.02% MoM decline.
The RE Bullet 350 was also on the list with a YoY increase in sales of 27.99%. This represented a volume increase with a market share of 12.88%. MoM sales fell 15% from the units sold in January 2023.
The RE Meteor 350 saw lower sales on a YoY and MoM basis, with sales falling 0.76% YoY in February 2023. MoM sales fell 12.12% to 7,622 units sold in January 2023.
In the 350cc segment, Royal Enfield also sells the Electra (Bullet 350 ES). Sales reached 5,109 units in February 2023, up 49.12% from 3,426 units sold in February 2022. MoM sales increased by 21.41% from 4,208 units sold in January 2023.
The Honda CB 350 ranked sixth, with sales down 89.71% year on year and 70.60% month on month. Sales fell to 319 units in the last month from 3,099 units in February 2022 and 1,085 units in January 2023.
The Jawa/Yezdi range of motorcycles was also on this list of best-selling 350cc motorcycles in February 2023. This represented an 8.15% decrease from the units sold in February 2022. MoM sales fell by 11.65% from 3,572 units sold in January 2023.
