2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS125 Launch: Exploring the Latest Features

Bajaj is currently in the process of revamping its popular Pulsar lineup which plays a significant role in the company's domestic sales. Following the introduction of the new Pulsar NS160 and NS200, Bajaj has now unveiled the 2024 Pulsar NS125, priced at Rs 1.05 lakh, approximately Rs 5,000 higher than its predecessor.

What's New in the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS125?

Although there aren't any major changes to the design and aesthetics, the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS125 features an updated headlamp setup and the addition of new LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) in a lightning bolt pattern enhances the bike's sporty appearance. While the headlamp casing retains a similar design to the outgoing model, the edges are now more eye-catching.

The front fascia of the 2024 model receives a significant makeover with the updated styling of the headlamp setup. Positioned vertically at the center of the headlamp casing are the low and high beams. Also, in comparison to its predecessor, the little visor features a more detailed, multi-layered design with a more angular silhouette.

New Instrument Console

Unlike the semi-digital instrument console of the outgoing model, the new Pulsar NS125 features a fully digital unit. With smartphone connectivity supported by this console, customers may handle calls and texts while on the go. Critical information is also displayed, such as the battery level, trip meter, rpm counter, fuel gauge, and odometer readings of the phone. Bajaj has also incorporated USB charging for added convenience, while safety is bolstered with the inclusion of ABS.

Other Features and Specifications

Most of the other features remain unchanged. The 2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS125 retains its sleek turn indicators, wide handlebar, sporty rear-view mirrors, sculpted fuel tank with tank shrouds, engine cowl, underbelly exhaust, and short tail section. A stylish step-up saddle split grip rails, and eye-catching designs and decals are further features of the bike. Color options remain the same as before – Orange, Red, Blue, and Gray.

In terms of specifications, the mechanical setup remains consistent with the previous model. The bike has a 5-step mono-shock suspension system at the back and telescopic front forks. Braking is handled by a 240 mm disc at the front and a 130 mm drum at the rear. The Pulsar NS125 rides on 17-inch wheels equipped with 80/100 front and 100/90 rear tubeless tires. The bike's 805 mm seat height provides sufficient handling and control and it has a 179 mm ground clearance and weighs 144 kg.

Powering the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS125 is a 124.45 cc, 4-stroke, SOHC 4-Valve, air-cooled, DTS-i Ei Engine, capable of producing 11.80 hp of maximum power and 11 Nm of peak torque. A 5-speed constant mesh transmission is mated to the engine. In this market area, the Pulsar NS125 remains a competitive package for riders taking on the Hero Xtreme 125R and TVS Raider 125.
