2023 Mahindra Scorpio Classic Spotted At Dealer Yard; Launch Soon

Mahindra has recently launched the new Scorpio-N in the Indian market, which is making records for bookings. As we posted earlier as well, it managed to sell over 1 lakh units in just 60 minutes on July 30th, the booking commencement day for the SUV. Now, the upcoming Mahindra Scorpio Classic is in the limelight.

The domestic automaker has stated several times that the standard Scorpio will not be discontinued following the release of the Scorpio-N and that it will even be available in a new avatar.

The Scorpio Classic SUV is going to enter the market really soon, which is implied by the continuously spotted variants. The 2023 Mahindra Scorpio Classic has already started reaching the dealerships, and here we have the information and pics related to the base trim and the top model of the SUV.

In the latest spy video, we are able to see the revamped exterior and interior of the Scorpio Classic. The automaker has fitted the car with a newly designed front grill featuring Mahindra’s new butterfly logo and vertical chrome slats, and it is further surrounded by projector headlights.

Apart from this, the front bumper has also been redesigned to make room for new fog lamp housings and LED DRLs. The side profile has also been updated with side cladding and 15-inch steel wheels.

Moving to the rear profile, there is a Mahindra logo on the tailgate and the rear bumper is a body-coloured one. However, the taillight design reminds us of the standard Scorpio. On the inside as well, some crucial updates have been noted. It now boasts a dual-tone black and beige interior theme. The cabin looks airy and roomy in this new avatar. However, the instrument cluster is identical to the standard Scorpio.

The Scorpio Classic will be powered by the Scorpio N's 2.2-litre diesel engine with 132PS/300Nm. The rear wheels will be driven by a 6-speed manual shifter. Unlike the Scorpio-N, the Classic model will not be available with 4WD.
