2020 Honda Fit (New Jazz) Hatchback Officially Revealed

The 2020 Honda Fit hatchback has been unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show 2019. Somewhere around June this year, we were able to catch a glimpse of the new-gen model, and now the car has been officially revealed in its fourth-generation guise. Including the Indian market, the hatchback is known as Honda Jazz in many international markets as well. In terms of the design, the car is small towards the outside and spacious towards the inside. At the Tokyo Motor Show, Honda avoided disclosing complete details of the updated model but on the same hand, the brand has promised that the car will continue to have a big cabin and a seat flipping flexibility. The 2020 Honda Fit will be offered in five trims and along with that, the hybrid system has been equipped with e-HEV, a new two-motor system. The brand has claimed that the hybrid version of the Honda Fit can be driven using only the electric power in "virtually all situations of everyday driving". No further details were given about the hybrid model of the new Fit/Jazz. According to the brand, in the all-new Honda Fit, the driver's view will be enhanced with new front pillars that provide a line of sight without compromising crash safety. The cabin has been designed to provide more space for the passengers in addition to improved storage space for the luggage. There are new body-stabilising seats about which the brand claims that they have been designed keeping the mid-size sedans in mind. The seats have been further equipped with better padding, which makes them comfortable for long trips. The 'Magic Seats' in the rear will be versatile like the last-gen model of the car. The 'Honda Sensing Suite' will have a front wide-view camera that will be teamed with eight sonar sensors. The 2020 Honda Fit (Jazz) is the first model that has been equipped with 'Honda Connect' onboard communication system and the owners will be able to activate the fee-based 'Honda Total Care' premium service, which will have a smartphone remote control of some vehicles, which further has the ability to inform a security guard along with emergency support services. It can be expected that the new Honda Fit will be launched in the Indian market as the 2020 Jazz sometime in the next year.
