The dates for the upcoming 2020 Auto Expo, one of the most anticipated events of the automotive industry have been announced. One of Asia’s largest automotive shows, the 2020 Auto Expo will be held at two locations.
The vehicle show will start on February 7 and will last till February 12. The venue for this year’s Auto Expo will be India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, UP. On the other hand, the components exhibition will be held from 6 February to 9 February, at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.
The Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) and Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) are the three entities responsible for organising the 2020 Auto Expo.

The activities for the 2020 Auto Expo will start from 6th February with the inauguration event followed by media day and special invites. The general public would be able to visit the expo on all days (7 Feb-12 Feb) while the business hours for the Auto Expo will be held on 7, 10 and 11 February from 10 AM to 1 PM. The Auto Expo will be subjected to multiple new car and bike launches from a variety of automotive brands across the world. The complete exhibitor's list has not been announced yet though, one can expect all leading automakers to take part in the 2020 Auto Expo.

The automakers like Maruti Suzuki, Jeep, MG Motor, Hyundai, Mahindra, Renault, Kia, Honda, Toyota and Tata are expected to feature their new range of products while the premium segment will have Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, Audi, BMW, Volvo, and other global automakers, debuting their electric and hybrid vehicles.
In the 2-wheeler segment, Yamaha, Hero, Honda, Royal Enfield, Harley-Davidson, CFMoto, Kawasaki, Ducati, Vespa, TVS Motor, and Aprilia are expected to be present at the 2020 Auto Expo. TVS is expected to showcase the production version of the Zeppelin 220 while Royal Enfield will be showcasing the updated 2020 range of the Classic and Thunderbird series.
According to the reports, Hyundai will be launching the next-gen
Creta at the upcoming Auto Expo while Tata Motors will unveil the H2X compact SUV. Maruti Suzuki is also expected to unveil their first electric car in the Indian market by the name WagonR electric. The 2020 Auto Expo will also be the first-ever platform to showcase the next-gen Mahindra Thar, Scorpio as well as XUV500.
