The young rider proved his mettle before everyone with his outstanding performances. Yamaha required strict updates to the YZR-M1 as they cannot afford losing titles back to back for another year. Yamaha has updated the bike with all suggestion made by Rossi and team, hoping to get the best out of MotoGP this season. They are one among the most advanced motorcycle brands as Yamaha has built a robot that rides a superbike in better way than most of the regular track riders. They have also launched the 2018 R1 in India for INR 20.73 lakh. This makes the bike a better deal now as almost INR 4 lakh of price reduction was seen this year. The same blue shade from YZR-M1 can be bought through the road legal R1 in India. R1 also comes in Tech Black shade. Yamaha discontinued the track spec R1M from India due to least demand and much higher price tag. They are introducing all these shades on lower spec bikes like Yamaha FZ as latest Armada Blue on dual disc variant is also inspired from the MotoGP YZR-M1’s shade.
