2017 Audi A5 and S5 Coupe Uncovered in Ingolstadt

The second generation Audi A5 and S5 Coupe have been revealed at the Ingolstadt headquarters of the company. The car has evolved a lot over its last generation and would be selling soon in November in the UK. The car comes with host of new exterior design details like a wider grill, new headlight design with LED DRL's and bigger wheelarchs for those big tyres. The roof is flatter and makes the model look sharp and elegant at the same time. Based on the new MLB platform, the car rivals the BMW 4 series and Mercedes C Class Coupe internationally. Even it has revealed its extra dimensions, the car is lighter than its predecessor by around 60 kg and claims a drag co-efficient of just 0.25. The boot space is claimed to be 465 liters. The car comes with a choice between 2 petrol and 3 diesel engines. The engines are 17% more powerful and 22% more efficient on the new A5. The top variant on the same is 3.0 L diesel 6 cylinder motor paired to a 8-speed automatic gearbox. It produces 268 BHP on the new A5. The S5 on the other hand comes with a petrol V6 producing 349 BHP. It claims a 0-100 kmph times of 4.7 seconds.
