007 James Bond's Aston Martin Sold for 23.96 Crore

James Bond and Aston Martin share an iconic relationship spanning across 11 films and 50 years. For the latest movie from the franchise - Spectre,  the folks at Aston Martin developed an in-house DB10 exclusively for the film. This limited edition car was sold at a charitable auction for £2,434,500 (Rs 23.96 crore) on 18 february. The proceeds from this auction will be donated to “Doctors without Borders”, an international NGO that provides medical aid and care in conflict zones. The car is equipped with 4.7 litre V8 petrol engine paired to six-speed gearbox, and has a top speed of 305 kmph. The car has stunning carbon-fiber exteriors and lush handmade interiors using aluminum, leather and carbon-fiber. The DB10 is one of the rarest cars in the world with only 10 of its kind being ever produced. 8 of them were modified or damaged during the filming of the movie. Out of the remaining 2, only this version is available for sale to the public. The car now belongs to an anonymous buyer who refuses to be named.
