In my tests, the petrol-CVT version returned around 8.3 kmpl in city driving and 9.6 kmpl on the highway when driven in Eco mode. For those concerned about running costs, the diesel variant is a better option, offering significantly better fuel efficiency, with some users reporting up to 12-14 kmpl in city driving and 18 kmpl on the highway. This makes the diesel version a more economical choice for frequent drivers.
