The Lamborghini Huracán is set to be replaced by a brand-new super sports car equipped with a new hybrid powertrain by the end of the year. This marks a significant shift for Lamborghini, moving away from the naturally aspirated V10 engine that has been a hallmark of the Huracán series. I believe this change will be a bold step towards a more sustainable future for the brand.

In 2023, Lamborghini introduced the Huracán Sterrato, a daring supercar designed for off-road adventures. Standing 44 mm higher than the Huracán EVO, it offers greater suspension travel and increased track width, along with 19-inch rims and all-terrain tires. This model is a limited production run of 1,063 units. I think this is an exciting move, showing Lamborghinis versatility beyond traditional road cars.

The Huracán EVO, launched in 2019, featured a revamped V10 engine generating 640 CV at 8000 rpm and 600 Nm of torque at 6500 rpm. It also introduced an all-new front end, improved downforce, and advanced technologies like Lamborghini Dynamic Steering (LDS) and Lamborghini All-Wheel Steering (LAWS). I believe these updates significantly enhanced the driving experience and performance of the Huracán.

At the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, Lamborghini unveiled the Huracán LP 610-4, which replaced the Gallardo. This model came with a 5.2L naturally aspirated V10 engine producing 610 hp, a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, and a hybrid chassis made from carbon fiber and aluminum. I think this was a game-changer for Lamborghini, setting a new benchmark in the super sports car segment.

The Huracán LP 610-4 was priced at 169,500.00 Euro, excluding taxes, when it was first introduced. Customer deliveries began in spring 2014, with production taking place at Automobili Lamborghinis headquarters in SantAgata Bolognese. I believe the pricing was competitive given the advanced technology and performance it offered.
