Jaguar Classic is celebrating the 75th anniversary of the legendary XK straight-six engine at the 2024 Goodwood Revival. The event will feature a 1963 Mk2 saloon racing in the St Mary’s Trophy, along with other historic Jaguars powered by the XK engine. This marks the first time the Jaguar Classic Works team has competed at the Revival. I think this is a great way to honor such an iconic engine.

A pair of low-mileage Jaguar XKs, including an XK and an XKR, have been highlighted for their performance and design. The XKR features a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine, producing 510 hp, while the XK has a naturally aspirated version of the same engine with 385 hp. Both cars are known for their sleek design and respectable performance. I find the XKRs supercharged variant particularly appealing.
