Toyota’s quality control is no joke, so the Glanza might be based on the Baleno, but it’s not going to be a bad car. I bet they've made a few changes in the manufacturing process.

I think it's unfair to call it "just" a rebadge. Toyota have put their own spin on it and the longer warranty tells me they’re confident in the product. It’s not a lazy rebadge, it’s a smart collaboration.

The same car, are we talking about the same car? On the highway my friend’s Glanza is noisy as hell. You can’t have a conversation without raising your voice.

It's hit or miss. I've been in two Glanzas, and one of them was much quieter than the other. Perhaps the insulation is not consistent?

The Glanza is definitely much louder than my old i20. But it's not a deal-breaker. After a while, you get used to it.

I think people are too picky. This is not a BMW, it's an affordable hatchback. The noise levels, for what it is, are perfectly acceptable.

The noise is fine in the cabin but the problem is the wind noise at higher speeds. The door seals could have been done better.

The Baleno certainly is quieter than this. Either Toyota added some extra insulation or something.

The infotainment on the Glanza is pretty solid too. It's responsive, easy to use, and gets all the basics out of the way. It's not cutting edge by any stretch of the imagination, but it works without any fuss.

Honestly, I'm not impressed. Some competitors offer larger screens and also a more up to date look. Toyota should have done better.

It's a mixed bag. The built in navigation is a joke, but it works great with smartphones. Instead I just use Google Maps on my phone.
