For its size, it’s surprisingly nimble. Once you get used to the dimensions it's not much harder to drive than a large SUV.

Not a terrible idea for daily city driving. Parking is a pain, and the fuel economy in stop and go traffic is awful.

It's doable but not ideal. Good for wider streets, but a nightmare in old city centers where streets are narrow.

As a tradesman, it's perfect. I have the city down and can get around, and I always have my tools on me. Nothing else I'd trade it for.

Newer models do much better with urban driving than do old ones. A big difference is made by improved turning radius.

It's all about perspective. If you're used to small cars this will feel huge. It'll feel compact if you've driven trucks.

Simple conversions are great with the older models. The newer ones have more creature comforts, but are harder to modify.

It depends on your height. It's a bit cramped for being 6'2". Although my shorter friends love their HiAce campers.

Surprisingly capable! I’ve put mine on some pretty rough forest roads with no issues. It'll never be a rock crawler.

Terrible idea. They're not off roading built. Expensive repairs are what you'll be asking for.

With the right mods, they can take quite a bit. I've added a lift kit and AT tires and it's served me well for mild off road use.

They're okay on gravel roads, nothing too crazy. If you can find one, the 4WD versions are much better.

I work in rural areas and use mine for that. On muddy farm tracks, it copes ok, but I wouldn't take it too far beyond that.
