How do you take on the established global EV brands with the Mahindra BE.05?
31 December 2024 09:39
Absolutely! No foreign brand knows the Indian market as well as Mahindra. They'll get the pricing and features right for what Indians want, not just copy paste a global model.
How do you take on the established global EV brands with the Mahindra BE.05?

No way. Mahindra is playing catch up, and it shows, and Tesla and Hyundai are light years ahead in EV tech. So why would you buy a BE.05 when you could get a proven global brand?
How do you take on the established global EV brands with the Mahindra BE.05?

It doesn't have to beat Tesla to win. If Mahindra can supply 80% of the features for 60% of the price, they have a winner in India. Not everyone can afford or needs top tier EV.
How do you take on the established global EV brands with the Mahindra BE.05?
31 December 2024 09:39
It's going to be a huge 'Made in India' factor. People will choose Mahindra as they will want to support an Indian company fighting global giants. It’s about national pride, not just specs.
How do you take on the established global EV brands with the Mahindra BE.05?

I'm skeptical. The tech is the name of the game with EVs, and Mahindra doesn't have deep pockets to spend on R&D like the big, global players. I think they're going to make a decent car, but I don't think they'll be class leading in any way.
Do the younger generation find the retro design of Jimny appealing?
31 December 2024 09:03
Absolutely! Right now, the retro look is super trendy. The Jimny definitely turns heads, and young people love anything that’s different on Instagram.
Do the younger generation find the retro design of Jimny appealing?
31 December 2024 09:03
I don't think so. Young buyers, for the most part, want sleek, modern designs with lots of tech. It looks like a vehicle their grandparents would have driven.
Do the younger generation find the retro design of Jimny appealing?
31 December 2024 09:03
It's a mixed bag. While some young people enjoy the uniqueness, others think it’s too old school. More enthusiasts than the average young buyer will be drawn to it.
Do the younger generation find the retro design of Jimny appealing?
31 December 2024 09:03
The price isn't youth friendly but the design is cool. Those who can afford it often want something more luxurious, and those who can't afford it like the look, but can't get it.
Do the younger generation find the retro design of Jimny appealing?

Age doesn’t matter, it’s personality. At 25 or 55, the Jimny appeals to adventurous spirits.
Do the younger generation find the retro design of Jimny appealing?

The retro design is a winner but Maruti failed to bring in modern features that the young buyers are looking for. It would be a youth favorite if it had better tech.
Do the younger generation find the retro design of Jimny appealing?
31 December 2024 09:03
It’s different, and young people love it. The Jimny is an outlier in a sea of lookalike SUVs. The younger crowd finds that uniqueness very appealing.
The Maruti NEXA Invicto is just a rebadged Toyota, or does it have something unique to offer?
31 December 2024 08:56
It's definitely not a rebadge. That front grille and Nexa style LED DRLs give the Invicto its own identity, and Maruti has put effort into that. The trim and color schemes are different on the inside as well. Plus, many buyers also prefer a wider service network of Maruti.
The Maruti NEXA Invicto is just a rebadged Toyota, or does it have something unique to offer?
31 December 2024 08:56
So, let’s be real, it’s 90% Innova Hycross with a Maruti badge. They are mostly cosmetic and do not really deem this a separate product. Maruti is just trying to get a slice of the premium MPV pie without doing the hard work.
The Maruti NEXA Invicto is just a rebadged Toyota, or does it have something unique to offer?
31 December 2024 08:56
I think it’s more of a mix of both. That's right, it's based on the Innova, but Maruti's pricing strategy, along with its feature packaging, makes it a compelling alternative. In particular the lower variants represent good value compared to the Toyota equivalent.
The Maruti NEXA Invicto is just a rebadged Toyota, or does it have something unique to offer?
31 December 2024 08:56
I am a Maruti fan and I am excited to see them come into this segment. The Invicto isn't revolutionary, but it does take Maruti a step closer to providing more premium products. I think we will see more differentiation in future models, just give them time.
The Maruti NEXA Invicto is just a rebadged Toyota, or does it have something unique to offer?
31 December 2024 08:56
The real question is whether Maruti can replicate in this segment the same level of reliability and service quality that Toyota has. Badge engineering is okay as long as the overall ownership experience meets the price point.
Do you have to give up some driving dynamics to get the Baleno’s space and comfort?
31 December 2024 07:39
Absolutely worth it. For tall people like me, the Baleno’s space is a godsend. In this segment, it’s rare to find a car where you can actually sit comfortably in the back seat.
Do you have to give up some driving dynamics to get the Baleno’s space and comfort?
31 December 2024 07:39
I disagree. I test drove the Baleno and the i20, but the i20 just felt a lot more fun to drive. On highways, the soft suspension of the Baleno makes it a little bit floaty.
Do you have to give up some driving dynamics to get the Baleno’s space and comfort?
31 December 2024 07:39
Daily commuting and family use is something that the Baleno’s comfort fits in perfectly. Not all of us need or want a stiff, sporty ride. Every day my back thanks me for the comfort over the sportiness.
