Why my Yamaha SZ's engine gets heat up and stops for 20 minutes?
19 January 2023 08:36

The Yamaha SZ's engine may be getting heated up and stopping for 20 minutes due to a number of factors. The engine may not be generating enough air or fuel, it may not have been adjusted properly, the spark plugs could be broken, the cooling system could be not working, or the engine could be operating at an excessive temperature.

You have to tune the engine, change the spark plugs, examine the cooling system, and check the air and fuel filters to resolve this problem. To help keep the engine cool, you can also add water and/or a radiator fan. The Yamaha SZ engine shouldn't overheat and halt for 20 minutes if you follow these recommendations.

Why has the mileage of my Yamaha SZR decreased?
19 January 2023 08:35

Since the Yamaha SZR is an older model, it is likely that its fuel efficiency has decreased due to the build-up of dirt and debris in the engine. As air and fuel are not burning as efficiently as before, this can lead to a decrease in mileage. It is important to ensure that you regularly maintain your vehicle to keep it running at its best. This may include replacing the air filter, spark plugs, and fuel filter, as well as checking the condition of the exhaust system.

Additionally, the fuel injectors may need to be cleaned or replaced to help keep the engine running efficiently. If you find that your vehicle is still not performing as expected, it might be necessary to have it serviced by a qualified mechanic.

Why my Yamaha SZ run smooth at low speed?
19 January 2023 08:30

It is possible that your Yamaha SZ is not running smoothly at low speed due to a number of different factors.

The most common cause is a dirty or worn spark plug, which can cause the bike to run rough at low speeds.

Another thing to look at is the air filter, which if clogged can reduce the airflow to the engine and cause it to run rough.

Lastly, the fuel level could be too low, resulting in the bike running rough at low speeds. If none of these seem to be the issue, it may be necessary to take it to a qualified technician for further diagnosis.

Should I buy a 2nd hand Yamaha SZ-R (2011 model, 48000 kms) for Rs. 35,000?
02 January 2023 06:24
You should not go for the used Yamaha SZ-R as it has been driven extensively and the seller also does not have service record for justifying the engine health. IN INR 35,000 you can easily buy a brand new Bajaj CT100 and incase you need a 150 cc bike only, the new SZ-RR version 2.0 will suit you the best. You can pay INR 35,000 as the down payment and the rest INR 35,000 (calculating on-road price) with a loan of 1 year. This makes you to a 0 km driven brand new fully loaded SZ-RR, with Yamaha Blue core technology for higher performance and mileage. It will also bring next few years of tension free riding with it.
