Is it good for long rides ?
22 August 2023 04:18

Yamaha Aerox 155 is one of the quickest scooters in the segment. It is very powerful and aggressive. It is powered by a 155cc engine which makes 15PS. The Aerox 155 rolls on 14-inch tyres sprung on a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers. With a 790mm seat height and 126kg kerb weight, it is fairly accessible too. Its ground clearance, though, is a bit low at 145mm. For the braking process, the Aerox employs a 230mm disc up front along with a 130mm drum brake at the rear. All these specs make it a great option for long rides and the ergonomics are pretty good as well.

Which one is best in braking and stability, Yamaha Ray ZR 125 or TVS Ntorq?
21 August 2023 11:31

As per your requirements, we would suggest you go with the TVS NTorq 125. Though there is not much difference between the two, the NTorq excels by a small margin. In the braking test, the NTorq 125 comes to a halt at 20.30m (60-0kmph) while the RayZR 125 takes 21.91m. The telescopic fork and mono shock have been set up to soak up bumps, potholes, and speed humps without getting flustered.

Is this scooter comfortable for long rides and what about the suspension?
21 August 2023 11:29

While it romps ahead in outright acceleration, and despite the linear power delivery of the motor, you can breeze past slow-moving traffic with a simple twist of the throttle. In the city, with the engine stop-start system helping out when necessary, the Ray ZR managed to deliver class-leading fuel efficiency of 66kmpl. Less weight means less stress on the engine to get up to cruising speeds, and the linear power delivery aids. On the highway, it isn’t bad either, matching NTorq’s fuel efficiency figure. The slightly smaller fuel tank might force you to stop for fuel sooner but the 20-25km deficit in range will not be a deal-breaker. On the other hand, the suspension components are new with Yamaha now opting for a more plush setup. The ride isn’t jarring like it was on the older 110cc scooter. There is an initial bit of firmness from the front telescopic fork the ride improves as the speeds get higher. The mono-shock is very softly sprung. It does get a little willowy when you tackle large speed humps with gusto or if you have a rather large pillion on board. So, you do experience that bounciness but that settles down fairly quickly as well, helping you regain composure with ease. For a better understanding of compatibility and driving comfort, we would suggest you take a test drive

What is the solution for starting problem in Yamaha MT-125?
17 August 2023 10:32

1) Check the petrol flow to the carburetor.

2) Apply the choke and then try to start.

3) Check the spark plug for a good spark.

4) Don't raise the engine once the bike starts for a few seconds. It losses fuel and thereby mileage. Keep the engine idle for two minutes and then start riding.

5) Check whether the headlamp or any other electrical is switched on. Switch it off and then try.

6) If your bike is featured with an electric start, check the battery is in a charged state. Try the kickstart too.

7) Switch off the bike, then kick start it 3-4 times, then switch on the engine and give a kick.
