03 February 2025 06:13
It depends on what you're looking for. If you want something that stands out and has that "big bike" feel, the MT-15 is worth it. But if you're on a budget and just need a reliable commuter, there are cheaper options that'll do the job.
Is the Yamaha MT-15 V1 worth the premium over its competitors?
03 February 2025 06:13
I'd say it's worth it for the long-term reliability. Yamaha bikes tend to hold up well over time, and the resale value is pretty good. You might pay more upfront, but it could be more economical in the long run.
Is the Yamaha MT-15 V1 worth the premium over its competitors?
03 February 2025 06:13
The premium is justified if you appreciate the little details. The fit and finish, the quality of switches, and even the sound of the engine – it's all a notch above the competition. You get what you pay for.
Is the Yamaha MT-15 V1 worth the premium over its competitors?
03 February 2025 06:13
It's a tough call. The MT-15 does offer some unique features like the VVA technology, but is that really worth the extra cash for daily riding? I'm not so sure. It feels more like a luxury than a necessity.
Is the Yamaha MT-15 V1 worth the premium over its competitors?
03 February 2025 06:13
For me, the premium is worth it just for the looks. The MT-15 turns heads wherever it goes, and that aggressive styling is hard to find in other 150cc bikes. If you care about aesthetics, it's definitely worth considering.
So why is the suspension of the Yamaha MT-15 V1 too stiff for some riders when they use it on a daily basis?
03 February 2025 06:08
The Yamaha MT-15 V1's stiff suspension setup is designed to enhance stability at high speeds and during cornering but compromises comfort on rough roads or potholes. This makes it less suitable for daily commuting on uneven surfaces.
Is Yamaha MT-15 V1’s aggressive riding position comfortable for long ride?
03 February 2025 05:33
The Yamaha MT-15 V1 has an upright riding position, which is generally comfortable for long rides. However, its aggressive styling and sporty ergonomics might not be ideal for everyone. Some riders find it comfortable for extended periods, while others may experience discomfort due to the bike's sporty nature. Adding accessories like a small windscreen can enhance comfort on long trips.
Why do I have a feeling that some riders will not buy the KTM Duke 125 if Yamaha MT 15 V1 is available at a similar price?
03 February 2025 05:33
Riders might prefer the Yamaha MT-15 V1 over the KTM Duke 125 due to its more powerful engine (18.1 bhp vs 14.3 bhp) and better fuel efficiency (around 56.87 kmpl vs 46.92 kmpl). The MT-15 also offers a more refined riding experience and better visual appeal, which could sway buyers away from the Duke 125 if priced similarly.
Why is the suspension of the Yamaha MT-15 V1 too stiff for some riders when they use it on a daily basis?
03 February 2025 05:33
The Yamaha MT-15 V1 features a sport-tuned suspension, which is designed to provide stability and agility. However, this setup can be too stiff for some riders, especially on rough roads or during daily commuting. The stiffness is intended to enhance handling and performance but may not be as comfortable for riders who prioritize a smoother ride.
Is single channel ABS of Yamaha MT 15 V1 safe as compared to dual channel ABS?
03 February 2025 05:33
Single-channel ABS on the Yamaha MT-15 V1 provides safety by preventing the front wheel from locking up during hard braking, which is crucial for maintaining control. However, dual-channel ABS offers additional safety by also controlling the rear wheel, reducing the risk of skidding or losing traction. While single-channel ABS is safer than no ABS, dual-channel ABS is generally considered safer and more effective in preventing accidents.

The 790 is way more fun. The handling is so much sharper than the MT 07, and that engine is a ripper.

MT-07 all day. It's cheaper, still plenty of bike for the street, and more reliable. Most riding is overkill for the 790.

Every time you ride the 790, it feels special. The MT-07 is a good bike, but it doesn’t have that excitement.
