Basically, it’s just a run of the mill commuter bike with some ‘tough’ looking plastic bits added. Nothing heroic about it. Marketing is all that Bajaj is good at.

I think it hits the sweet spot for its target. Not everybody needs or wants a fancy bike with everything on it. Sometimes you just need simple and reliable.

Bajaj’s profit margins have a hero in the CT125X! Jokes aside, it’s a good value for money if you’re on a budget and need something that can take abuse.

Absolutely! What drew me to the CT125X is its simplicity. My commuter bike doesn’t need fancy gadgets, just something that works and gets me from A to B.

No way. It's a deal breaker for me that it doesn't have a front disc brake. It shouldn’t be sacrificing safety for a low price.

That depends on what your priorities are. If you are mechanically inclined and like to work on your own bike, then the simplicity of the CT125X is a huge plus. Fewer things to go wrong!

Bajaj missed an opportunity here, I think. At the very least they could have included at least some basic modern features without jacking up the price too much. It’s a bit too bare bones.

It's fine they don't have features, but I wish they had spent that money on better quality components. For example, the suspension can use an upgrade.

The basic feature set is more than enough for city commuting. And, fewer electronics means less chance of electrical gremlins in the future.

It's a hit for me! This is the cool, no nonsense vibe of the CT125X, reminding me of the bikes my dad used to ride. It’s retro without trying.

I'd pick the Street Triple R. And the inline three is buttery smooth at all speeds, the extra power is nice for highway merging.
