What performance does the Honda PCX 150 deliver when compared to class competitors while driving on highways?
28 January 2025 10:01
The PCX works well enough for brief highway rides yet touring with it remains out of the question for me. During lengthy journeys I find that it performs below my friend's Suzuki Burgman 200 both in power output and ride comfort. If your primary use remains city riding with some highway time then the PCX fits your needs well. Daily freeway travel requires you to think about getting a larger scooter.
Does the Honda PCX 150 meet the requirements for two-up riding performance?
28 January 2025 10:01
My wife rides passenger on my bike all the time. To make riding with a passenger work well you need to adapt your riding style. You must avoid rapid acceleration while it's important to brake before curves while maintaining high safety awareness through turn sections. After enough practice this becomes perfectly manageable.
What performance characteristics does the Honda PCX 150 show when operating on wet surfaces?
28 January 2025 10:01
My entire year of commuting in Seattle gives me firsthand confirmation of the PCX's wet-weather performance. The PCX exhibits predictable behavior with stability when negotiating standing water. Every time you ride in heavy rain make sure to clean and lubricate your chain more frequently than usual.
The Honda PCX 150 demonstrates what type of performance characteristics when used on rough or unpaved roads.
28 January 2025 10:01
While operating my PCX through difficult dirt roads I discovered its handling capabilities exceed expectations. The suspension handles many bumps effectively yet riders must stay alert to dodge large rocks and deep potholes. Though it isn't designed as an off-road bike the PCX manages well through occasional unpaved journeys.
Does the Honda PCX 150 maintain rider comfort throughout extended use on the road?
28 January 2025 10:01
How much you enjoy your PCX depends on what you expect from it. When compared to full-size touring motorcycles it lacks equivalent comfort levels. This scooter holds up exceptionally well for what it is. My longest rides went up to 200 miles without encountering major problems.
Will the Indian traditional buyers love the unconventional design of the Svartpilen 801?
28 January 2025 09:39
That is exactly why it is going to be successful, it is an unconventional design. There’s a new weariness of cookie cutter bikes.
Can the Svartpilen 801 live up to its expected high price tag in the value conscious Indian market?
28 January 2025 09:39
The question is, though, can Husqvarna build a strong enough brand image to warrant that price? It's not just about the bike.
Is the KTM 790 Duke’s little brother, the Svartpilen 801, worth the premium over it?
28 January 2025 09:39
If you can afford it, I’d say it’s worth it. The Svartpilen is that conversation starter and has that cool factor the Duke doesn’t have.
Will the 801 eat into the sales of the 401 in India?
28 January 2025 09:39
I believe it will damage 401 sales. The 401's looks are so good that many people buy it, and the 801 has the same style with more power.
How will the upcoming Royal Enfield 650 twins fare against the Svartpilen 801?
28 January 2025 09:39
In the long run, the Svartpilen has an edge. With Indian riders becoming more performance oriented, this is the type of bike they will lean towards.
Could a modernized Maruti Omni Ambulance be the answer to current urban emergency response challenges?
28 January 2025 09:25
You're both missing the point. The solution isn't one-size-fits-all. We require a combination of vehicle types. First response and minor emergencies would be great for a modernized Omni, with larger ambulances for critical cases.
Should the iconic Maruti Omni Ambulance be kept in automotive museums?
28 January 2025 09:25
As a car enthusiast I say absolutely preserve it. The Omni Ambulance is a rare combination of automotive design and social need. It's not about being flashy, it's about documenting how we adapted vehicles for our own specific needs.
Was the design of the Maruti Omni Ambulance genius for Indian conditions?
28 January 2025 09:25
Absolutely genius! The Indian equivalent of a Swiss Army knife, the Omni Ambulance is compact, versatile and gets the job done. The perfect design for our chaotic traffic and narrow gullies. You try clearing a big fancy ambulance through a Mumbai bylane during monsoon!
Did India’s jugaad culture in healthcare get inspired by the Maruti Omni Ambulance by accident?
28 January 2025 09:25
The Omni Ambulance is a double edged sword though, let's be real. It certainly did provide a solution when we needed one, but it also gave authorities an excuse not to invest in proper emergency services for far, far too long.
Is the Maruti Omni Ambulance the unheralded hero of Indian healthcare?
28 January 2025 09:25
Hero? Wheels more like a liability. You’ve seen how cramped it is inside, right? The small room has barely room for a patient, let alone any proper medical equipment. We don’t need to celebrate outdated tech, we need to upgrade our emergency response vehicles.
Can the Ola S1 Pro’s performance withstand extreme weather conditions?
28 January 2025 09:14
However, the scooter has a little difficulty in hilly areas in winter. Cold weather and inclines really put a strain on the battery. In these conditions I have learned to be conservative with my range estimates.
How well does the Ola S1 Pro’s build quality stand up against traditional scooters?
28 January 2025 09:14
As I came off a Honda Activa, the build quality of the S1 Pro was something I was skeptical about. But I've been pleasantly surprised. It feels solid, and well put together. Perhaps my unit was lucky?
So, how does the Ola S1 Pro cope with Indian roads?
28 January 2025 09:14
In fact, the handling is pretty good, even on less than ideal roads. The problem is ground clearance more than anything. Traditional scooters do not require as much awareness of obstacles as you do.
How good is the software and app connectivity of the Ola S1 Pro?
28 January 2025 09:14
The software is hit or miss. It works flawlessly some days, and it's a nightmare other days. I have had the app not connect, the app randomly reboot, and laggy UI. While it’s getting better with updates, it’s not 100% reliable.

28 January 2025 09:04
