The Punch isn’t heavy really but the clutch is stiff in traffic. This isn't a gender thing, but if you constantly drive around city streets this may be a good concept to consider.

I’d say it’s less about gender and more about your experience as a driver. It will take time to get adjusted if you’re new to SUVs, but you should get used to it too because it will take time to get adjusted for anyone.

I’ve been driving the Punch for 6 months as a woman, and it’s fine! This is actually pretty light steering, and the high seating position provides great visibility. Driving is no more difficult than any other small car.

I think it’s kinda sexist this whole debate. The car doesn’t have a clue whether it’s being driven by a man or woman. It’s not about gender, but about individual comfort and preference.

It’s more about the driving experience than about gender, I would say. Anyone will have an adjustment period if you’re new to SUVs.

Since coming out of a Maruti, the Punch feels like a tank! It's not a luxury car, but for a budget SUV I have to say I am impressed at how well built it feels.

I've not had great experience. Paint quality issues and some interior trim piece came loose. Tata is better, sure, but they’re not quite there yet.

People's expectation is over, for the price. Considering Indian roads and safety, it is built well. What's important to me? That's what.

On the exterior I’d say is good quality, but interior has some work to do. Some rivals feel a bit more plasticky.

No big problems after 20,000 km so far, but I do see some inconsistent panel gaps. I wouldn’t exactly call it premium feeling, but it is sturdy overall.

Not the best, but it works for sure. All I actually care about is that Android Auto works fine. Not a deal-breaker for me.

It is actually pretty good given the price point. It's not a slick looker like more expensive cars, but has all the essential features you'd expect.

Almost never do I use the built in system. I simply connect to phone and use that UI instead. Works great that way.

Tata could use the software work really needs to be put into. A lot would help with regular updates.

I think it’s fantastic coming from an older car with no screen at all! Perhaps I am easy to impress, but it fulfils all those needs.

It could be improved quality wise. The problem is that it's not very bright, especially in sunlight.

It handles the city roads just fine, but I wouldn’t call it an offroader. It’s just more of a high riding hatchback than it is a proper SUV.
