Megapixel is a concept car from Tata Motors. It is basically a range extender electric vehicle with a capacity of around 900 km with emission values as low as 22 g/km. It gets a 325 cc, single cylinder motor with four wheel electric motors on each wheel. The battery type is Lithium Ion Phosphate 13 kWh, providing as much as 87 km of drive from its total distance covered once full with fuel. It gets a comfortable seating arrangement for 4 adults and brings forward the future of automobiles in ever increasing world. The production version of Megapixel would definitely vary from the concept car and its mass production would also take a lot of time. When launched, it will get benefits from the FAME scheme of the Indian government and an expected tag of INR 4,00,000 can still be thought for the Megapixel.

The height of Tata MegaPixel was 1405 mm when it was displayed as pure concept car. It will not make its way into mass production and some other car based on the future concept car could make the way into the industry later. The car would not have been comfortable for your height as you will be comfortable in a car with seat height close to 1600 mm. The Tata MegaPixel had a 325 cc petrol engine with a Li-ion battery for enhanced power and mileage. Gearbox used was 4-speed automatic and the seating capacity of the vehicle was 4. It was showcased with safety features like ABS, EBD, airbags and parking sensors and was specifically designed according to the European standards.

Tata MegaPixel is a concept car. It is not available in any city yet and there is no information by the company regarding the launch and price. According to the official website, it will run on electric drive via 4 electric wheel motors with auxiliary power unit to provide REEV capability. Its length, width and height is expected to be of 3504mm, 1673mm, 1405mm respectively. It is also set to provide 110 km/h maximum speed.
