The exact launch date of Creta is July 21 and the production of the same will start on June 20. It was first expected with the name ix25 and now the official name Creta has been spotted. The expected price of Creta would be based on the variant and the engine option being selected, being around INR 8.5-11 lac. The booking amount will be disclosed after the official unveiling of the vehicle by the respective dealers, which will also vary from state to state. The delivery time for the new vehicle would be very short for the first batch whereas the second batch of vehicles may take from 3-6 months for delivery. You can book the car at the day of its launch and you will easily get it before the first stock runs out and after then, it would take long waiting periods for the car to arrive. The car is expected with a 1.6 L diesel motor and a petrol engine, which cannot be surely said. An automatic version is also expected, most probably in the diesel variant.
