India has a variety of weather, from very hot summers to very heavy monsoons and from very cold winters in some areas. In the case with electric vehicles — including scooters like Aeroride YB2000 — cars tend to be sensitive to extremes of temperature because it can affect the battery performance, range and overall reliability. As such, users are especially keen to know how the YB2000 handles high temperatures that can affect battery lifespan and efficiency, and in heavy rains, which are common in monsoon seasons. People are also curious about how the scooter will perform in cold weather in northern parts of India. Riders are talking about how they're using the YB2000 in different weather, sharing any differences they notice in range, charging time, and performance, and exchanging tips for making the most of the scooter in poor conditions.

In extreme heat, I’ve found that using the eco mode keeps the range more consistent. Slower, but at least you don't get stranded.

In direct sunlight, the LCD display is difficult to read. It’s not a performance issue as such, but it is annoying on bright days.

One tip for hot weather is if you can, try to charge it in a cooler place. I have found that charging the battery when it is cool, you have faster charging and better initial performance.

It struggles a bit in Ladakh’s cold climate. The battery warms overnight, but range is much less than warmer regions.

It doesn't seem to mind heavy rain but I'm always nervous about deep puddles. I wish they'd give more info on their water resistance rating.

In the moderate climate of Bangalore it's been rock solid. On trips to hotter cities I've noticed the cooling fan running more often.

During the 45°C+ days, the performance definitely suffers and I live in Delhi. It’s sluggish acceleration and the range drop noticeably.

Winter mornings can be a little bit hard. It takes longer for the battery to warm up and I get less range the first few kilometers.

It surprisingly does well with monsoons. Water seepage is no issue, and the traction control is a big help on slippery roads.

I've seen about a 15-20% range drop in peak summer. It also seems that the battery heats up faster, particularly when parked in the sun.
