What do Duke 790 owners think of the bike’s styling?
Like most things on a motorcycle, aesthetics are subjective, but for some reason, the KTM Duke 790 has piqued the interest of people and stirred up the debate. Unlike other naked bike designs, the bike showcases its aggressive, angular styling evoking KTM's philosophy of 'Ready to Race.' Notable features include the bike’s compact dimensions, exposed trellis frame, and its distinctive LED headlight. Some riders like the modern, edgy look, while others think it’s too busy or just plain polarizing. Also discussed has been the practicability of other design elements such as the tail section and exhaust location. Finally, the styling is considered for what effect, if any, it has on riding experience, road presence, and general fussiness.
Love it. Like a transformer about to pounce, it looks. The angular design is really a standout in a sea of boring naked bikes.
It's too busy for my taste. I like Japanese bikes generally for the cleaner lines or the older KTMs.
The tail section is unfinished, but the headlight is killer. They must have run out of ideas halfway through designing it.
It's growing on me. At first I didn't like it, but now I think it looks pretty badass, especially in person.
What sold me on the bike was the styling. It even looks fast standing still. No regrets.
I really wish they stuck closer to the concept bike design. Some of the coolest elements got cut from the production version.
Definitely polarizing, but I love that KTM took a risk on the design. This is better than playing it safe and boring.
The only thing I don't like about this thing is the exhaust. It's like an afterthought. Everything else is spot on.
I think it already looks dated. The angular trend is on its way out. Give me something more timeless.
It has perfect styling for the character of the bike. It’s aggressive, modern and a little unconventional – just like the way it rides.
