I see that the engine does run a bit warmer with LNT system. That might not be something to keep an eye on for long term engine health.

I am still mixed on this one. Well it works well now, but ask me in couple of years about true long term costs!

I'm loving it. No more worrying about AdBlue quality and running out at the most inopportune of times.

SCR systems are more difficult to work on, my mechanic says. Right, gotta be good for long term costs!

The fuel consumption is a bit higher but it is great not having to deal with AdBlue. Might be balancing out cost-wise.

The only problem I had with the LNT system was that it was covered under warranty. Quick fix and no problems since.

Although I don’t have much to go on, the maintenance schedule appears less intensive than that of my old SCR equipped truck. Obviously will save some time and money there.

I'm skeptical. It works fine now, but it may not last for a very long time. It's still relatively new tech.

So far, so good. There have not been any issues with the LNT system in my experience and it is cheaper than having to buy AdBlue all the time.
