This leads us to the question, is the Altroz iTurbo really worth the premium over the NA version?

The iTurbo variant of the Altroz costs 70-80k more than the equivalent NA petrol variant. The two are so close in price, though, that many potential buyers are torn between the two, wondering if the additional power and features are worth the price bump. Owners report some saying that the iTurbo feels much peppier and others saying that the difference isn’t as noticeable in city driving. And opinions are mixed as to whether the iTurbo's fuel efficiency is really so much better that you get the upfront cost back over time. Some also argue that the NA version is more reliable long term as its simpler naturally aspirated engine. With such conflicting opinions, it’s very difficult for buyers to decide if they should push their budget for the iTurbo, or stick with the trusted NA.

Absolutely worth it! The turbo provides an extra punch that makes a big difference on highways. I went from the NA and it's like night and day.

You won't notice much difference in bumper to bumper traffic, honestly. Get the NA unless you do a lot of highway driving and save your money.

But the iTurbo is not just about power, you get better features too. Feeling more premium thanks to leatherette seats, and ambient lighting.

If you can afford it I'd say go for the iTurbo. It's the top end variant so the resale value will likely be better down the line.

From someone who test drove both, the iTurbo felt better refined. The low RPM NA had more vibrations.

But the extra cost isn't just for performance. You’re also paying for better NVH levels and general polish.

I wish I had gotten the iTurbo. On inclines and when fully loaded the NA feels underpowered.
