The KTM Duke 890—is it too much bike for newer riders, or can they handle it?

The powerful performance capabilities of the KTM Duke 890 have sparked debate as to whether it is too much bike for the less experienced motorcyclist. Some say that with its powerful engine, sophisticated electronics, and knife-edge handling, it might be too much for inexperienced riders to control safely. Some say its customizable riding modes and safety features can allow even the most passionate motorcyclist time to grow into a more powerful machine. This is not a complete 'how to' on the subject but rather deals with broader themes of motorcycle progression, rider skill development, and the role of electronic aids in modern bikes. Riders, instructors, and newcomers to the sport have different opinions about whether the Duke 890 is a good choice for someone relatively new to motorcycling or someone that is more experienced.

It’s not a beginner bike, that’s for sure, but I think an intermediate rider could ride it. It's more forgiving than you'd expect with the electronics.
