Tork T6X is India's first electronic bike. T6X runs on lithium ion batteries which can be powered upto 80% per charge in just an hour. The bike runs on an automatic single speed transmission. It runs 100 kms in one charge. The gives out a maximum torque of 27 Nm which is fairly impressive. It runs on a 72 Ah battery whose life is a 1000 cycles. It is something new for the Indian market but it has a promising future. Tork also plans to set up about 100 charging stations per city which would solve the purpose of charging. The only thing is the battery replacement cost for such a product is high, otherwise you should buy it if you are willing to spend 1.25 lakhs for a electric two wheeler.
