Is the Venue N Line's exhaust sound enhancement feature truly valuable or is it all a gimmick?
There’s an artificial sound enhancement system that boosts the engine and exhaust sound in the cabin. This feature is goal is to give the driver and passengers the auditory sportier experience that you hear in a car that may be more powerful or more performance oriented. Such systems are often a source of great debate among car enthusiasts, however. Some love the added intrigue and engagement it adds to the driving experience, others take it for a device that detracts from the purity of the car. It frequently includes discussion of the value of natural engine note, how much technology belongs in a car today and whether these features really add to the driver’s experience, or more accurately, allow them to ignore the performance the car is capable of.

It’s cheesy, but I can’t help but smile when I hear it. No one is getting hurt, so why not have some fun with it?

I think its clever engineering. The sporty feel without actually making the car louder from the outside. Win-win in my book.

It's a nice middle ground for those that want a sporty sound, but don't want the noise of a full performance exhaust. Great for those who don’t want to disturb their neighbors, but still want some fun.

I was a skeptic at first, as an enthusiast, but it's grown on me. It's not out to trick anybody, it's just there to improve the experience and I believe it does that well.

It’s not bad, but I would love to have an option to completely turn it off. It's sporty when you want it to be and quiet when you don't.

I love it! It's artificial, but it does help the sporty feel of the car as a whole. It's fun and engaging to drive every day.

It's a total gimmick. There’s nothing like the real engine sounds. I would much rather hear the actual engine, even if the engine is not as sporty.
