Fuel efficient engine is the main selling point for cost conscious business owners and that’s the reason why the Maruti Super Carry is known for its fuel efficient engine. But for this efficiency comes often at the price of raw power and performance. In what ways does this trade off show in real world scenarios? Do the fuel savings from reduced power warrant the loss of power, especially when fully loaded? Try different use cases – short urban hops, long highway runs, light loads and full load. Does the balance between power and efficiency make sense for different types of businesses and driving conditions? Let’s take a look at the pros and cons of this efficiency focused approach and determine whether it really does provide value to Super Carry owners.

It really saves fuel, but man, it struggles up hills when fully loaded. It's a tough call.

It is a game changer for my city deliveries. That don't need much power anyway.

I'd rather have more power. Being so underpowered doesn't make up for the fuel savings.

Good, perfect for my flower shop. The efficiency really starts to add up on light loads, with lots of stops.

Depends on your route. On flat roads, it's great. Hilly areas? You will curse the lack of power.

It's all about the CNG version. They are crazy cheap to run and the power loss isn't as noticeable as you might think.

For short trips, it's fine. But, long highway runs with a full load? It's a test of patience.
