Is the Scram 411’s unique styling still fresh in 2025 or do we now find it starting to look dated?

The Scram 411 is Royal Enfield’s first retro styled design that is mixed with modern adventure bike styling. Unlike more angular, aggressive looking competitors, its round headlight, simple body panels and scrambler inspired aesthetics stand out. But as motorcycle design progresses and many manufacturers adopt sharper lines, LED lighting and more futuristic looks, there are those who are beginning to question whether the Scram 411’s appearance is starting to look a little dated. The bike's styling was a large part of the initial appeal of the bike, drawing riders looking for something different than the typical adventure bike look. In a market where the next big thing is always being pushed, is the design of the Scram 411 starting to look its age compared to newer models? Is its retro modern fusion still cool in 2025 or is it time for a visual refresh?

The Scram 411's styling, I think, is timeless. It has that classic look that never really leaves, like a good pair of jeans. It's a good looking piece in a sea of over designed, transformer looking bikes.

To be honest, it’s starting to look a little dated to me. A few years ago the round headlight and simple body panels were cool, but now it's just a little plain compared to newer bikes with LED lights and more aggressive styling.

The Scram 411's design is beautiful because it doesn't try too hard. Ironically, it’s not chasing trends, which makes it feel more current. I think it’ll age better than a lot of the more ‘futuristic’ looking bikes out there.

I'm torn on this one. I love the classic vibe part of me, but the other part wishes they'd update it with some modern touches. Perhaps keep the overall shape but make some LED lights and a little more edge to the bodywork?

Who cares if it's "current"? It’s got character, it looks cool, it’s functional. You don’t need your bike to look like it came out of a sci fi movie. The Scram 411’s design is what makes it so charming, and I hope Royal Enfield doesn’t change it too much.
