Is the Mahindra Xylo's ordering of roll over risk or high seating position a safety feature?

Tall stance and high seating position, which give impressive driver and passenger visibility, are the hallmarks of the Mahindra Xylo. This is often sold as being a safety gain, letting the driver see further down the road and spot potential hazards from further ahead. But some critics say that the high center of gravity makes rollovers more likely, particularly during emergency maneuvers or in poor weather. In the wider debate about SUV and MPV safety versus lower riding vehicles, this debate is relevant. Think about the change in height and how the Xylo handles, and how its height changes the safety ratings and stability control systems. Will improved visibility compensate for any possible increase in rollover risk? And how does it affect that the vehicle is suitable for different kinds of driving condition and environment.

I’ve driven a Xylo for years and can vouch for the high seating being a big positive. It’s saved me from potential accidents more times than I can count, being able to see over traffic. If you drive sensibly, the rollover risk is overblown.
