Is the Amo Mobility Jaunty Pro 'pro' enough for daily commuting?

The Jaunty Pro is a high performance electric scooter that is being marketed as a commute machine for urban riders, but some riders have their doubts about how well it would hold up for daily use. Its range, charging time and the ability to operate in different road conditions are of concern. Comparisons with other electric scooters in the same price range have also led to discussions if Jaunty Pro can really call itself 'pro'. In online forums, we can also find discussions on factors including build quality, after sales service and long term reliability. This has also triggered a wider debate around the standards for 'pro' level electric vehicles in the Indian market, and whether manufacturers are really holding up their end of the bargain with consumers.

I've been using the Jaunty Pro for my 20km round trip commute for the past 3 months and its been pretty solid. It’s got a decent range, and I only have to charge it every other day. The ride over pothole ridden Mumbai roads is better than I expected.

It is a bit of a stretch to call it 'pro'. A good entry level e scooter with some features missing on more advanced models. The app connectivity is really hit or miss, as results will greatly vary between various locations and driving conditions, and the suspension isn't anything to write home about.

I think it is a good value for the price point. It’s not top of the line, but for most urban commuters it does the trick. The scooter itself is pretty capable, but the "pro" might be marketing fluff.

I disagree. I sent mine back after using it for a couple of weeks. I had trouble with the controller, and the battery life was inconsistent. I expected better quality control for a "pro" model.

That really depends on how far you commute. It’s great for short trips on decent roads. If you’ll be dealing with longer distances or rough terrain you might want to look at other options.

I think people get caught up in the 'pro' label too much. It’s a good mid range option with good features for price. And while a top spec scooter is not a necessity for everyone’s daily ride.

For me it's "pro" because of the after sales service. When I’ve had problems, Amo Mobility has been really responsive. When you’re relying on it every day, that peace of mind is worth a lot.
