The difference between the seat height of version 1.0 and version 2.0 of Yamaha R15 is 10 mm, which makes the newer version’s seat higher than the older version. You should go for the old version as it will favor you in terms of driving in traffic, making it easy to put the weight of the bike to your legs. The R15 version 1.0 also comes with 5 kg less body weight, further enhancing your confidence on the road and your bike. It gets a much lower pillion seat than the version 2.0, making more easy in case of riding with pillion. The older version produced 16.8 BHP @ 8500 rpm and 15 NM @ 7500 rpm. It came with a price tag of INR 97,000 and you can have a clean R15 version 1.0 in the used market for INR 40,000 and above. Even waiting for some time can benefit you as rumors of relaunching the old version has been seen on various websites.
