How effective is the SP125's LED headlight for night riding?
The Honda SP125 comes equipped with an LED headlight, which is often touted as a premium feature in this segment. LED lights are generally known for their brightness and energy efficiency. However, the effectiveness of motorcycle headlights can vary greatly, especially when it comes to illuminating dark rural roads or providing adequate visibility in foggy conditions. Some riders have strong opinions about LED vs. traditional halogen headlights, with each having its pros and cons. For SP125 owners, especially those who frequently ride at night or in low-light conditions, the performance of the headlight is crucial for safety. Let's explore how the SP125's LED headlight performs in real-world night riding scenarios, its beam spread and intensity, and how it compares to other bikes in its class.
The LED headlight on my SP125 is pretty good for city riding, but I find it lacking on dark highways. The beam doesn't spread wide enough for my liking.
