Finally, How does the 7 seater WagonR compare in handling to its 5 seater sibling?
With its two extra seats, the WagonR raises questions about how this changes the handling of the car. This is the WagonR, which already has a reputation for being somewhat prone to body roll thanks to its tall boy design. As the 7-seater variant could add more passengers and weight, stability concerns were felt around cornering at higher speed and even slightly lower speed. A few drivers say they can feel a change in the car’s center of mass, while others contend that the handling is essentially the same. But it also concerns how the extra seats change the car’s suspension setup and if Maruti has done any meaningful rejigging to offset the extra weight on the car. And this is a pertinent question for those who like the nimble nature of the standard WagonR and are worried if the 7 seater version will come at the cost of driving dynamics.
I've driven both and there isn't that much difference in day to day driving. It feels a bit heavier than the 7 seater, but it's not like you're now driving a boat. The suspension tuning has been done decently by Maruti.
