Does the Tata Punch's infotainment system spell the end of the world?
For many buyers, however, the infotainment system in cars has become that increasing important, sometimes a huge point in making a purchase. Interestingly, the Tata Punch system has taken some criticism with some complaining of laggy performance, little functionality, or connectivity issues while something else crowing about functionality and easy of use. As a result there have been debates about how much emphasis should be placed on infotainment on a budget car or whether the smartphone integration is more important than the built in systems or whether their software development is keeping up with the rest of the improvements. The broader trend of higher digitization in cars is also discussed, and if this massively positive development.
Not the best, but it works for sure. All I actually care about is that Android Auto works fine. Not a deal-breaker for me.
It is actually pretty good given the price point. It's not a slick looker like more expensive cars, but has all the essential features you'd expect.
Almost never do I use the built in system. I simply connect to phone and use that UI instead. Works great that way.
Tata could use the software work really needs to be put into. A lot would help with regular updates.
I think it’s fantastic coming from an older car with no screen at all! Perhaps I am easy to impress, but it fulfils all those needs.
It could be improved quality wise. The problem is that it's not very bright, especially in sunlight.
