Can the Mahindra Bolero MaXX Pik-Up really be used every day in a city?

The Bolero MaXX Pik-Up is marketed as a versatile workhorse but its large size and utilitarian design make it something of an oddity in urban environments. Such a vehicle would be difficult for city dwellers with narrow streets, little parking and the need for maneuverability in traffic. But it may have enough cargo capacity and durability to work for small business owners or folks who need to move big things often. Those needing to navigate pothole riddled city roads might also like the vehicle's rugged build quality. Also, extra room could help offset some of those size drawbacks by allowing drivers to sit higher and see more of the traffic in front of them. The question is whether the Bolero MaXX Pik-Up's strengths compensate for its possible shortcomings in a city, and can it really be a practical daily driver for city dwellers.

It's way too big for city streets, no way. You would spend half your time trying to park it.

In actuality, I use mine all the time in the city. Perfect for hauling stuff when I run my small business.

High seating position is awesome for seeing over traffic but it's not ideal.

Depends on the city. It’s fine in smaller towns, but try that in Mumbai or Delhi.

I wouldn't want it as my only vehicle in the city, but I love mine for weekend projects.

In stop–go traffic, fuel economy would be brutal. Not practical at all.

For its size, it’s surprisingly maneuverable. But it takes some getting used to.
