The Suzuki Gixxer SF cruises very smoothly on 100 kmph and increasing the speed further adds to minor vibrations into the bike, but that can be ignored as the same amount is available in most of the bikes. The Gixxer SF comes with a fully faired design, making it more stable and fuel efficient on high speeds when compared to the naked sibling. The engine noises in the Gixxer are beautifully hidden in its exhaust note and do not feel excess loud. The bike comes with excellent engineering as only 4 kg onto the naked one makes the Gixxer SF, which has a top speed of 135 kmph. Its aerodynamically proven design is one of the best in the industry and Suzuki offers it on a price tag of INR 83,439.

The Suzuki Gixxer SF comes with a kick start. The design near to the kick has been made so cleanly that it seems as if the kick is not there and the kick also is slim and black in color. The Gixxer SF comes with excellent dynamics as it has been tested in the same tunnel where Hayabusa was tested. The bike comes with the reliable 154.9 cc engine, producing 14.6 BHP and 14 NM of torque. It comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox and the new fairing has made it look much better than its naked sibling. Depends on what you want. If you want performance (i.e a fast bike) you should go for the Pulsar 200 NS. I don't really like its look but that depends on people. This (or the Pulsar AS200) is the fastest bike you will get below 1 Lakh. Pulsar 200NS is better than the Pulsar 220 in all regards. Suzuki Gixxer SF has no disc brakes. I personally do not like its looks either. So I don't recommend it. It also doesn't have a 6th gear and lacks performance compared to 200NS. Yamaha FZ is a reliable, popular ride that looks good and has good mileage. However it has less power compared to Pulsar 200NS. FZ should be the bike you should buy for daily use if you don't mind the considerably small power output.

Only R15 wins, what ever it is
02 January 2023 06:26
The Suzuki Gixxer SF is a good bike but competing with R15 would not make it as impressive as the Yamaha machine. The R15 comes with loads of features over the Gixxer SF. First, it comes with a liquid cooled and fuel injected engine which is much better than the air cooled and carbureted on th Gixxer SF. R15 produces more BHP when compared to the Gixxer SF. It comes with twin headlight cluster and a race inspired R series design. The R15 comes with a disc brake for the rear and the seating position, ride handling and braking has no direct competition with the Gixxer SF. The pricing is par too different, with the R15 being INR 30,000 more on the price tag.

The Suzuki Gixxer SF is not equipped with Suzuki advanced cooling system(SACS). It is used only in the high end bikes. The Gixxer SF comes with a Suzuki jet cooling system, which internally reduce the heat by spraying a jet of engine oil onto the piston head at very high speed. This enables the system to cool faster and more effectively at higher rpm's. The Gixxer SF comes with a fully faired MotoGP inspired design. It has been aerodynamically tested and produces 14.6 BHP from its 154.9 cc engine. It has been priced at INR 83,439.

Gixxer SF is a full faired bike with 14.8 ps @ 8000 rpm and 14 nm @ 6000 rpm. It is more stylish than Apache RTR 180 ABS. While RTR 180 has a very good braking system. Milege is great in Gixxer. Apache vibrates in speed 80-90 but Gixxer doesn't. The top speed of those bike is also closer. But Gixxer SF is complete value for money bike here. I suggest you to buy Gixxer SF.

The better bike out of both the above bikes is the TVS Apache RTR 180 ABS. The bike comes with number of features which make it better than the rival Gixxer SF. It comes with a bigger engine, producing much more power than the power generated by Gixxer SF. It comes with a disc brake for the front as well as the rear, making it more safe with its ABS feature being offered. The riding dynamics of both the bikes are excellent and the TVS being more quick and responsive makes itself a better choice over the Gixxer SF. The fully faired design of the Gixxer makes it look like a more expensive bike. The Apache RTR comes with a price tag of INR 86,500 which is only INR 2,500 more than the Gixxer SF. You should go for the ABS enabled RTR 180.

In my opinion you should go for Suzuki Gixxer because it's better than R15, in case of mileage, price, comfort etc
02 January 2023 06:23
Gixxer SF has a full faired look with single headlight while Fazer fi v2 has twin headlight with half fairing. Mileage will almost be same. Fazer is 5000/- more costly than Gixxer SF. And the performance is better in Suzuki giant. So Suzuki Gixxer SF will be a better option.

Dear Vinayak, Suzuki Gixxer SF provided 47 certified minimum mileage compared to fazer 2.0 because Gixxer SF has aerodynamic body and better performance and looks. So unique.

Yamaha Fazer version 2.0 and Suzuki Gixxer SF are the most happening rivals in the 150 cc segment. You should go for Yamaha Fazer version 2.0 as the bike has gone through a lot of changes in the previous years of its dominance. Yamaha has implanted fuel injection into the bike, making it a much better and smooth ride than before. It brings with itself a twin headlight design, a muscular and chiseled tank and a decent body design. The bike brings a perfect blend of power and efficiency through its 149 cc, 12.9 BHP engine. The stats seem to be small on paper but its performance makes it a winner over the Gixxer. The price of the Fazer version 2.0 is INR 86,805 making it a fair deal over the Gixxer with more features and perfect drive.
