I waited 13 months for my Enyaq and really, it was worth it. I couldn't find anything else for the same money that gives you the same amount of space, comfort and range in the car.

No way I'd wait that long. It's moving too fast in the EV market. It will be better options in a year's time. If you want something sooner, it would be the Kia EV6 or the Hyundai Ioniq 5.

Ridiculous wait times, but it depends. If you really need a car, obviously it’s not the place to go. If you can wait and you’ve test driven the Enyaq and love it, then perhaps it’s worth holding out.

After waiting 8 months for Enyaq I canceled my order and got myself a Tesla Model Y. In my opinion, the software and charging network alone make it a better choice.

In fact, it actually worked in my favor, the long wait. When I got my Enyaq, it had the latest software updates and a couple of minor improvements by the time. Waiting isn’t always a bad thing if you don’t have somewhere to be.

I don’t think the Enyaq is overrated. If you don’t want to wait, there are plenty of great EVs out there. The whole market is evolving so quickly, why limit yourself to one model?
