The Maruti Suzuki S-Cross is expected to launch on 5th August 2015. The car comes in crossover styling and brings new titles to the Maruti Suzuki naming strategies. The LDi, VDi and ZDi have been replaced with Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. The new car would be exclusively sold in Nexa showrooms and the car comes with 2 engine options. The Sigma gets 1.3 L diesel, with a Sigma(O) variant also. Other variants have one each of the 1.3 L and 1.6 L diesel engines. Smartly, Maruti has used no petrol engine for the S-Cross and the range is expected to start from INR 8.25 lakh and INR 9.5 lakh for the base variants of 1.3 L and 1.6 L respectively. The car is expected with a top trim reaching nearly INR 11 lakh.

Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 comes currently in a petrol variant only. It comes with a 999 cc, 3-cylinder petrol motor producing 67 BHP. The car comes with the best in class power and Maruti Suzuki is planning to make a diesel variant of its younger sibling, the Alto 800. The engine that would be used on the car would the newly developed 2-cylinder 793 cc DDiS 125 engine from Maruti Suzuki Celerio. They plan to launch the vehicle by the end of 2015, making full chances of its announcement before the festive season.
