Ahead of its time in India maybe, but globally this concept existed. Maruti just adapted it well for the Indian market.

Compared to other brands, it was still very efficient. Just not top-of-the-class like some Marutis.

I don't see how they can go that low without killing battery or functionality. I guess it will come to be somewhere around 18-20 lakhs.

I'm skeptical. EVs are inherently expensive. But Maruti might be cutting too many corners to hit a low price point.
