The SW feels like a more premium bike overall, and as someone who's ridden both, I think it's a good bike. Just the cherry on top is the adjustable suspension.

That really depends on what kind of touring you do. But if you’re mostly on paved roads and like to ride fast, the KTM is better. If you’re more into mixed terrain and a more laid-back pace, then go with the Himalayan.

I owned both, and I would say that the Himalayan is a better touring option in India. It's easier to fix in remote areas and also does better on rough roads.

If you ask me, that’s wasting money. The 125 will soon be outgrown by you. Your cash is better spent on a 390 or bigger.

Depends on your goals. If you're restricted to a 125 and you can't upgrade, hell yeah, mod it; make it yours!

I say mod it. You’ll learn some skills that will always be valuable, and you’ll have more fun even if you move to a bigger bike later.
