I have had my Seltos for 2 years and 30,000 km and it’s been pretty reliable. Maintenance costs are reasonable and so far no big issues.

Some models have problems with the DCT transmission. I’ve heard many horror stories about expensive repairs after the warranty period. It's a gamble.

Kia's warranty is great, but I am concerned that if I have to call on it down the road the parts and the bill will not be as good as the warranty. It's nice tech features, but I don't know how that's going to hold up.

Everything has worked out perfectly so far, so good for me. 18 months in. Costs of the service are pretty much on par with what I had with my old Hyundai, which is fine by me.

Kia’s service centres have been so and so for me. There are some which are great, some that are just not so much. It appears to be very much location dependent.

There’s a solid build quality, but I have reservations about the long term durability of all those electronic things. Whether or not they are reliable or just fancy gimmicks will be told by time.

I’ve been a mechanic, and I’ve seen a couple of Seltos come in with small issues, nothing major yet. For a relatively new model, it seems to be holding up well.

The infotainment system in my Seltos is something I love. The screen quality is great, it is intuitive, and responsive. Everything integrates beautifully with my phone.

I find it distracting while driving but it looks flashy. There are just too many menus and options. I like simpler systems that don’t distract me from the road.

It’s not a breakthrough system, but it’s good. What it does, it does, but I've seen similar or even better systems in other cars in this price range.

I’m a tech enthusiast, and I’m impressed. Actually, the voice commands work good and the UI is clean and easy to navigate as well. I think it's one of the best systems I've used in a car.

It’s nice but I’ve had some glitches with Android Auto. It randomly disconnects sometimes. It’s great when it works, but the inconsistency is super frustrating.

Navigation is awesome on the large screen, but I wish there was a physical volume knob. Volume controls on a touchscreen while driving are a pain.

I think it's overhyped. Yes, it’s cool looking, but after the novelty wears off, it’s just another infotainment system. I never use half of the features.

The Seltos does well in Indian roads, I must say. It has a firmer than average suspension that will offer good stability on the highway, but can feel a bit harsh over bad patches in the city.

The Seltos feels stiffer than my friend’s Creta. Sporty driving is great, but there are better choices out there for pure comfort.

I’ve taken my Seltos on some pretty rough roads and it’s held up well. It has a good enough ground clearance and doesn’t bottom out easily. You do definitely feel the bumps more than in some other SUVs, but yeah.

It’s a mixed bag as far as ride quality goes. The driver and front passenger find it comfortable, but the people in the back say it is too firm on long journeys.

In fact, I actually like the Seltos' ride more than softer SUVs. It’s planted a bit more and I feel better trusting it at higher speeds or cornering.
