Surprisingly enough, I’ve found the ADAS features to be surprisingly useful on long highway drives. Adaptive cruise control is a real game changer with respect to reducing fatigue.

ADAS in India? It’s more like "Anxiety-Inducing Driver Confusion System"! Our traffic beeps and flashes warnings that don’t make sense.

I think it's a mixed bag. For example, the automatic emergency braking has saved my butt on more than one occasion from close call. Some, like lane keep assist, are pretty useless on most Indian roads, but there are others which are quite useful.

ADAS features are nice to have, but I wouldn’t say I need them. They work pretty good on well marked highways but generally I turn them off in city traffic.

As I always say, I appreciate Mahindra trying to bring these safety features in Indian market. It’s not perfect, but it’s a step in the right direction. They'll become more valuable as drivers get used to them.

Suspension is a little too stiff for me. It’s great for handling, but on bad roads, you feel every bump. Long drives don't make my back happy.

I think the ride quality is just ok after a year of driving. Not horrible, but not as good as I was expecting from Mahindra's claims about the European tuned suspension.

The Supro's size is a godsend for small businesses doing local deliveries. It's a roofed scooter with more carrying capacity.

I don't think it's really practical for it to be that small. You’re always making trips because you can’t carry enough in one go.

The Supro hits a sweet spot for urban use. It's not so big as to be a bother in tight spaces, but big enough to be useful.
Does the Mahindra Supro Ambulance really suit Indian road conditions?
27 December 2024 10:28
I can attest that the Supro Ambulance is surprisingly capable as someone who has driven it in city and rural settings. A huge plus about its compact size is that I've squeezed through gaps in urban traffic that would leave larger ambulances stuck. The suspension works okay, bouncing away larger potholes though you can feel road bumps out on the rural roads.
