It’ll be interesting to see how well Kia tunes the systems for Indian conditions, I think. It could be really useful if they do their homework.

The real problem is going to be teaching drivers how to properly take advantage of these features. If you don’t have that, then they’re just expensive gimmicks.

It’s good to see ADAS in more affordable cars like the Clavis. It will not be perfect, but it will help normalize the technology and over time lead to improvements.

Most Indian drivers will probably just turn these features off, let’s be real. It’s not something that we’re used to, letting the car take control.

I believe that it'll be fantastic for new drivers. Having an extra set of eyes on the road can really be a boost of confidence.

The ADAS has been surprisingly useful, especially on the highway. It’s not perfect, but it does make long drives less fatiguing.

To me, ADAS in India is just a gimmick. These systems can’t work reliably because our roads are too unpredictable. And I'd rather pay less and have a car without it.

It's a mixed bag. Adaptive cruise control is great on expressways, but lane keep assist is pretty useless in city traffic.

At first I was skeptical but automatic emergency braking has saved me from a couple of close calls from suddenly stopping cars.

It's useful, but I'm concerned that some drivers will rely on it a little too much. It should be seen as a guide, not to be a replacement for attentive driving.

The ride on the Venue is on the firmer side, and I like it for handling, but it can be a tad harsh on really bad roads. You feel more bumps but you have better control.
