The Hyundai Creta's instrument cluster looks pretty good. It has two dials for the tachometer and the speedometer. It also shows digital temperature and fuel gaugue. At the middle is multi-information display which shows the distance travelled, average speed and trip time.
However, it does not show the fuel economy. It is quite a disappointment that car in this segment has missed out on the fuel economy display.

You should consult your nearest Hyundai dealership for the problem discussion and try the other automatic variant available with them. Automatic cars are a bit noisy than manual ones in the initial speeds but the vibrations should stay away from the cabin. You can try the other automatic and compare the noises under the supervision of a Hyundai dealership manager. The problem can be in the gearbox and they would help you to get it solved as soon as possible.

Even the top variant of Creta misses out on instantaneous mileage, average and distance to empty features, which sounds very odd as it nearly costs above INR 15.5 lakhs on road. It only gets the low fuel warning lamp and misses on many of the minor, but useful options in its instrument console. The facts which keeps it strong is its excellent 1.6 L diesel motor and the availability of 6 airbags on the top most variant. Other features like projector headlamps and 17 inch wheels make the Creta one of the best looking car in its segment.

Harshdeep, It seems like you are confused between some offerings in the hatchback market. Choosing one between Ford Figo Aspire and Hyundai Elite i20, I would have preferred Ford engine. I had drove Ford Figo and Hyundai i20 (2013) model and I found Ford more confident and responsive engine rather then Hyundai. So according to me, you should go for Ford Figo Aspire between Aspire and Elite i20. I suggest you to have a look on Honda Jazz (2015), also Maruti Suzuki will launch new Baleno (name not confirmed) in early 2016.

The Hyundai Verna 2009 model gets a hydraulic power steering. The car came with two engine options and a number of variants based on both of them. The petrol motor was a 1.6L unit producing 102 BHP and 149 NM of torque whereas the diesel motor was 1.5L producing 110 BHP and 240 NM of torque. Both the engines are mated to 5-speed gearbox, with a special 4-speed AT gearbox for the diesel motor in the SX Auto variant. The 2014 Verna 1.6 SX would be a winner if considered from the performance point of view. It comes with a much responsive 1591 cc, 4-cylinder petrol motor producing 121.4 BHP @ 6300 rpm and 154.94 NM @ 4200 rpm. The Verna comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox and returns a 13-14 kmpl mileage. On the other hand the Honda City diesel VX diesel is a mileage oriented car with 25.1 kmpl of certified mileage. The Honda City comes with a 1.5 L engine producing 98.6 BHP @ 3,600 rpm and 200 NM @ 1,750 rpm. It gets a 6-speed manual transmission. No launch date has been provided by the company for the new 2015 Sonata. The only news for the car has been that it can come with one of the two diesel engines(2.0L and 2.2L). The first is a 2.0 L with 180 BHP and 390 NM of torque whereas the other one is a 2.2 L diesel motor with 195 BHP and 440 NM of torque. The transmission on both the engine vary from manual to automatic units. The car comes with luxury approach and was discontinued because of poor sales and increase in the market share of luxury cars by the German trio. It would get a Genesis inspired design and the car would again be the flagship model for the Indian market.

The 2014 Hyundai Verna was a very good car as it was the best car available in its segment and had the most impressive power figures for a mid sized sedan. The basic drawbacks, which as such does not feel like a drawback till you ride a car of a higher segment were the limited amount of legroom for the rear seats and the same limited view out of the rear seat. The car came with an automatic variant, which had a 4-speed automatic transmission, feeling outdated in the era of a 5-speed automatic in a Nano. The car comes with a lot more positive points, which includes its powerful segment leading engine, which produced 126 BHP and 259 NM of torque from a 1.6 L diesel engine. The 1.4 L petrol and 1.6 L diesel engine was not as responsive as the 1.6 diesel motor and petrol model had a low fuel economy too.
