The key will be the dealership experience. Hyundai has a wider network and is also reputed to have a better after sales service.

It all comes down to pricing. Hyundai will attract a lot of budget conscious buyers if they can undercut the Punch a little.

Is the Ai3 capable of taking on the Tata Punch?
02 January 2025 07:05
One reason for the Punch's success is that it lacks strong competitors. The Ai3 doesn’t have to be better, it just has to be good enough to be a viable alternative.
How are Fronx interiors better than or at par with Hyundai Venue or Kia Sonet?
31 December 2024 07:55
Maruti has really stepped up their game with the Fronx I think. However, the interior does feel a lot more premium than older Marutis, though it isn’t quite at Hyundai’s level.
How are Fronx interiors better than or at par with Hyundai Venue or Kia Sonet?
31 December 2024 07:55
I have sat in all three and my opinion would be that the Venue and Sonet still have an edge. It’s just that the materials feel a bit more plush, especially in the top trims.
How are Fronx interiors better than or at par with Hyundai Venue or Kia Sonet?
31 December 2024 07:55
For its price point, the Fronx interior is perfectly fine. It’s not going to be as flashy as the Korean cars, but it’s functional and well put together.
How are Fronx interiors better than or at par with Hyundai Venue or Kia Sonet?
31 December 2024 07:55
The Fronx’s design is actually cleaner and simpler and that’s what I prefer. Sometimes the Venue and Sonet interiors feel a bit busy and overdone.
How are Fronx interiors better than or at par with Hyundai Venue or Kia Sonet?
31 December 2024 07:55
I’m a Fronx owner and the quality is impressive. It’s not luxury car level, but it doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy. The touchpoints are nice.
How are Fronx interiors better than or at par with Hyundai Venue or Kia Sonet?
31 December 2024 07:55
While the Fronx definitely loses the wow factor to the Koreans, I think the interior is a little more ergonomic and easier to live with day to day.
How are Fronx interiors better than or at par with Hyundai Venue or Kia Sonet?

Then let’s be real, Maruti still has some catching up to do. Hyundai and Kia are still ahead in perceived quality, but the Fronx is better than before.
How are Fronx interiors better than or at par with Hyundai Venue or Kia Sonet?

It depends on what you value, I think. If you want lots of features and a techy feel, go Korean. The Fronx works great if you like simplicity and ease of use.
For its price, can the Kia Syros challenge the Hyundai Exter?
24 December 2024 15:42
But let’s not forget the Sonet still exists, which can be had for a good deal less money. That said, if priced too close to the Sonet, it will be tough to sell. Kia has to be really careful with its positioning here.
How does the Curvv's infotainment system stack up against competitors like Hyundai and Kia?
18 December 2024 05:11
Tata's really stepped up their game with the Curvv's infotainment! The 12.3-inch touchscreen is pretty slick, and the interface is much more responsive than older Tata models. But let's be real, it's still not quite at the level of Hyundai and Kia's systems, which are known for being super intuitive and feature-packed. The Curvv's system gets the job done and looks good, but it might feel a bit basic if you're coming from a tech-heavy Korean car.
Can the Curvv's infotainment system compete with what Hyundai and Kia have already rolled out?
26 October 2024 02:29
Tata is definitely on a huge improvement path but it’s still no where close to Hyundai/Kia levels. Those systems are just so smooth and intuitive. Butl they're basically playing catch up and they're not there yet.
Can the Curvv's infotainment system compete with what Hyundai and Kia have already rolled out?
26 October 2024 02:29
I disagree. Have you not used Curvv’s system? And the big screen is gorgeous – it’s way more responsive than older Tatas. It’s not going to have every bell and whistle but most people will find it plenty.
Can the Curvv's infotainment system compete with what Hyundai and Kia have already rolled out?
26 October 2024 02:29
Hardware seems solid but software rules. Tata could become a real contender if it regularly updates and fixes bugs fast. Hyundai/Kia have always been good at improving their systems, that’s been their strength.
Can the Curvv's infotainment system compete with what Hyundai and Kia have already rolled out?
26 October 2024 02:29
Do you think it’s all of these touchscreens are overkill? Are you the only one? I’d take physical climate control and basic functions buttons any day. That is, the Curvv's system is fine in that sense – it does what it needs to do without being too distracting.
Can the Curvv's infotainment system compete with what Hyundai and Kia have already rolled out?
26 October 2024 02:29
The fact it's ecosystem is what you guys are missing. This system could actually integrate really well if you’re already using the Tata EV chargers or connected home stuff, for example. For some buyers, that could be a big selling point.
Can the Curvv's infotainment system compete with what Hyundai and Kia have already rolled out?
26 October 2024 02:29
Speaking of something no one mentioned – privacy. There’s a ton of data that Hyundai and Kia collect through your infotainment system. At least some people were interested in having a system like Tata’s that’s a little simpler and more privacy focused.
